The Douglas-Benny campaign rolled into Nevada this morning at the Bella-gio Hotel on the Las Vegas Strip. As Dean Martin’s version of “A Marshmallow World” played on a giant video screen inside the ballroom, Manx Party voters joined Douglas for orange juice and Lucky Charms.
Douglas also released some foreign paw-licy details of his campaign platform. “A Douglas-Benny administration will not start any entanglements with the Persians,” a statement read. “We will work with the Havanese and Havana Browns to ensure a smooth transition after Catstro is finally put down, and we will encourage the Chinese Shar-Peis to manufacture lead-free pet toys.”
The Nevada caucuses are set for January 19. Douglas will visit Florida next week, where he is expected to be endorsed by the Florida Orange Juice Association.
